Long time no see...
It's been a really long time since I wrote something here... Mainly it's 'cause I haven't performed in a while now, instead I've been focusing on my new job as a head waiter and personnel manager at a restaurant located at the heart of Stockholm. It's long hours and hard work, but I love every minute of it! I've done some gigs with Peter in Kalmar this summer which was really fun. The next time I'll see him is around Christmas time up in Åre, in the north of Sweden, where we will celebrate Christmas together with our family's and friends, as we have done for about 6 years now. And, of course, we'll do some gigs aswell... =) It will be wonderful as always.

/Nina

Interview!
I'm doing extremly long hours at the new restaurant for the moment. For the last couple of weeks I've had about one or two days off... but I love it! =) A recognized radio-personality in Sweden called Mia Wendel visited my home a few days ago to make an interview with me about my life and Tiny H in her program "Gäst hos Wendel"... You can listen to it on Swedish radio P4 Kalmar on Wednesday the 26th of September at 12.30 PM. Back to work! =)

The release is coming up!
The album will be released at the end of November.
We will have a releaseparty in Madrid Thursday the 15th. I will put a band togheter with my Cuban friend Yadam for that occation and other upcoming gigs in this area of Europe.
It's a lot of things to cordinate with so it feels very good to have Maxe from Pama/Universal in this project. He is solid as a rock!
Nina has started a new job in Stockholm at a resaurant downtown. She is very busy there at the moment. It will be good to play togheter again in November.

The day of the Sara's
Today we celebrate the name Sara here in Sweden. It's the name of my grandmother and all my female cousins has Sara as a middle-name. There's at least 15 of us in the family who has that name, including myself. Every year, we celebrate this day at my grandmothers house on Öland where we take the opportunity to meet and just catch up on things that's happened... Today, my cousin Annie and her boyfriend will baptize their newborn daughter in my grandmothers garden and give her the name Sara as her first name. My beloved grandmother is SO proud and excited about this and she's absolutely worth the honour... She's the best grandmother that anyone could ever ask for and I love her with all of my heart.

Back in my hometown!
Hi everyone! Long time no see...;)

Yesterday I came back to my hometown Kalmar with quite a heavy luggage, I'm gonna be here for about six weeks. We have some gigs around the area this summer but also on Gotland and in Stockholm. It's gonna be fun! The next two weeks we're gonna mix our upcoming album "It hasn't been one normal day". On monday, some familymembers and friends of mine will record some back-up vocals on two tracks, that will be interesting, haha! I'm sure we'll have a great time! The songs has turned out really great and I'm so excited to hear the final result in two weeks from now!

I will also take the chance to spend some time with my friends down here this summer. I haven't seen them for such a long time and I've missed them all! My grandmother and my brothers will also see a whole lot more of me than they're used to, hope they can manage, haha!

Take care of yourself and the ones you love!

Kisses and hugs! /Nina

Marbella!
I came home to Sweden yesterday after three amazing days in Marbella, Spain! Some good friends of ours got married and we were there to entertain the guests! It was a lot of work but a whole lot of fun aswell! =) The trip started of with some problems though.. I seized the opportunity to visit my parents in Kalmar for two days on my way down to Copenhagen, Denmark where the flight to Spain would take off. The day before the take-off I discovered that I had forgot my passport at home in Stockholm! So I had to get to a town 100 km south of Kalmar to get a provisional passport which costs about 1000 kronor. I had about an hour before the police station closed so the stress that I expirienced that day can not be described in words.. It was to tricky to get back to Kalmar again so I slept at my brother's house in Malmö. He was amazing and helped me a lot, thank's bro! Anyway, when I finally got to Marbella, the weather was amazing! And all the enormous houses I've seen...! My god, they were big! =) I also learned that in a range of 100 km in Marbella, there are 80 golf courses!!! 80!!! We got some hours of free time at the third and final day so we visited this huge harbor called "Puerto Banos" were the boats were as big as ferrys! I've never seen anything like it! I think I've gained about 4 pounds on this trip... When you order food in Spain you don't get the smallest portions... =) The final night, I ordered sword fish! Tasty! =) Now I'm in Halmstad visiting Cecilia, one of my best friends who I lived with for about a year and a half in Stockholm. She moved here to study for about 8 months ago and I've missed her like crazy, so I'm really happy to be here! =) She's at work now so her close friend who's also called Nina and Cecilia's sister Rebecka are picking me up soon for lunch and some shopping in town! So to summarize this last week, it's been a kick-ass-road-trip, haha! Stockholm-Kalmar, Kalmar-Karlskrona, Karlskrona-Malmö, Malmö-Copenhagen, Copenhagen-Malaga, Malaga-Marbella, Marbella-Madrid, Madrid-Copenhagen, Copenhagen-Halmstad and eventually Halmstad-Stockholm! Puh! =)
Kisses and hugs! /Nina

Get some structure for God's sake
All the weeks in Åre are now over. I've had some great times up there, thank you to EVERYONE that supported us and bought our record! The summer is getting closer.... We have some big decisions to make with how and where we're going to perform with Tiny Harvest. It's always hard for me to mentally go from one place to another in a short period of time so I'm trying my best to put Åre behind me and try to plan for the future. Although I really believe in living in the present and take good care of every day you get, I sometimes wish I had the ability to plan ahead... But I'm really trying! I sincerely hope that everyone that I'm working with and my family have the patience to put up with me.... Love you all...

Kisses and hugs/Nina

2007-04-17
Thank you!
Thank you all people that have seen Nina and me playing in Åre. An extra thanks to everybody that have bought our record and an extra extra thanks to all the people that liked it and wanted to have more.

In one week from now we're heading up there again for another 14 days which will be the end of the season in that beautiful village in the north part of Sweden! =)

Going HOME!
Today, me and my good friend Emma are going home to Kalmar! I haven't seen my father for about five months, and I can't express with words how much I miss him! He's having some shellfish (my favourite), garlic bread and white wine ready for me when I come home! He's so sweet.... My mom and I met the last time in december so it will be wonderful seing her again as well... I'm having a hard time to "devide" my week-end, so I can spend equal amount of time with both of them plus seing my grandma and all my brothers and friends as well... It's tough but i think I'm gonna make it!

Kisses and hugs! /Nina

I came home Thursday morning about 4.00 AM to a freezing apartment! Brr! I've had a wonderful time in Åre but I must admit that it feels really nice to be back home again. I've met some of my best friends that I haven't seen for such a long time now... So my heart is full with love for the moment! :) I also spoke to my very best friend Aisha (who lives in Madagaskar for a year or two) over the internet today. I can't express with words how much I miss her.. But I now that she's having a great time and that she's well! Now I'm heading of to the supermarket to shop som food or something.. My fridge is kind of empty... We're trying to find a date to start recording the new album, but it seems to be hard for the band to find a date that suits all... but I'm not giving up! :)

Lots of work!
Hi again! It's been work and no play for a couple of days now. We've had some new pictures taken by a brilliant photografer and we have about 200 of them to pick out. I've been working with the info's and demosongs for Midem in France, Jean is going down there next wendesday to present our upcoming album. I'm getting a little homesick now... Cant wait to start recording the new album! And I miss my family and friends as well... Bye for now!

Fun time in Åre!
Hi guys! Long time no see.. ;) When you're up here in this beautiful part of north Sweden, you kind of forget the rest of the world... So I'm sorry I haven't been writing for a while now, but I've got SO MUCH to tell you! Me and Peter got up here on the 18th of December and have been playing every night since then. My mom and BoBo came up on Christmas Eve to join me, and it was great to see them again! We've had wonderful guests on stage with us such as Gladys del Pilar, Linda Lampenius and Janne Schaffer and we had some extremly fun times on stage! ;) I found out that Linda lives in the area right next to mine in Stockholm, so there will be plenty of homemade dinners and girltalk in the future! She is an amazing violinist and a remarcable person. My "fans" came up to see me this year! We played Beautiful Day and they all sang along! That was an amazing feeling! Thank you guys! You're making my life a lot more fun and I love you all! See you again next year! ;) Now I'm heading back down to my apartment in the village to drop of my bags, and then meet some friends for some bowling! I suck at bowling so I think they're gonna have a good laugh! ;) See you soon! Kisses and hugs!

Letters from Taiwan!
I've got some letters from people in Taiwan saying they're listening to our record all the time! They're giving me there opinions on the songs and telling me what the songs meen to them, personally. I can not express with words how much that inspires me to continue with this, and how much energy it brings... I will meet Peter tomorrow in Stockholm. Hope the recording-process of our second album will get on soon...

Happy Monday morning song!
This is soooo much fun!!! I'm in Spain with Peter and Johan Glössner (he's the guy that helps us with all the things we want to create but don't have the "talent" to do... =)) We're recording demos for the band to listen to before the main-recording takes place. So far we've done about ten songs and I'm loving them all!! And that's not common for me to feel in this early stage of the album! I usually have a lot of things that I don't like about the songs but in the end it kind of works out in some funny way.. But if I feel like this about the songs NOW... I can't wait for the final result!

/N

2006-11-13
Heading to Spain!
Peter is sending me new songs over the net every day and it sounds really good. I'm heading down to Madrid, Spain on Monday morning to start arrange the sound of the new songs. Me and Peter have talked a lot about the "making" of our second album and I've explained that I want to participate more in terms of the producing-parts.. I want this album to sound more "deary" and "rough"... I have found some new energy and I'm really looking forward to start singing again, which I've said many times before!

/N

Ps: A big congratulations to my wonderful mom on her birthday. I love you more than anything else and I'm so lucky to have you in my life. Puss o puss/Dotra di

NYC!
I've been in New York! My mom took me and my brother on a trip but we didn't know where until the day of the take-off! We were really surprised! =) The town was amazing! I've been at the top of the Empire State Building, I've seen Ground Zero (which was an awful experience) and I bought so many things! Took a walk in Central Park on the sunday afternoon and watched all the people on their sunday-walks.. I had so much fun! I'm looking forward to see Peter soon! It's still another month and a half to go, but I just want to sing again! It's been a very long time now since I been on the stage. I miss that feeling... But soon...! =)

Still working...
I'm still working about 65 hours a week and I'm getting quite tired doing that... But hey, I'm still young! Right now I'm sitting at my computer at home, adding some more songs to my iPod which I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT! Got an e-mail from Peter the other day saying we have to decide which song we'll use for our next single.

Working my *ss of...
It's been a long time since I wrote something here... and I'm sorry for that! It's just that I'm working about 15 hours a day right now and it feels like I don't have time for ANYTHING for the moment... Peter has moved to Spain with his family while I'm still here in Stockholm... We will see each other again in december when we eventually will start to work on our second album. I'm looking forward to that! But for now... it's hard work ahead! Take care!

Vacation?
I've been working real hard and long hours at the restaurant in Stockholm for the last couple of weeks. I work as a waitress when I'm not singing... Now I'm in Kalmar again to back up Peter on some of his personal gigs in our hometown. I'm gonna be here for a week.. Today (Wednesday) I accually have a day off (!) so me and my friend Anki will travel to Öland in a few minutes! Can't wait to jump into the ocean and cool off!

2006-06-13
A quick trip home.
I took the bus from Stockholm at 9.00 AM today to travel home to Kalmar. The trip took about 6 hours. We made an interview here for a Swedish TV-program to talk about the future and the release in Norway in August. The weather is amazing and has been for a coulpe of days now! I even took a swim in the ocean yesterday and it was really nice accually! I'm hoping for the good weather to stay in this otherwise so cold country... The sun always makes me smile and feel good. =)

Today is the Day!
I've just finished reherseal with the band for the gig we're gonna do today at Springbreak in Kalmar, Sweden. Everything sounds really good, but I'm accually quite nervous... I guess that the acceptance from the people in my home-town is very important. Cross your fingers for a good show! =)

The gig in Kalmar on the 27th of May is getting closer! I'm really looking forward to meet the band again, I haven't met them since the gig on TV4. I will meet Peter two days before to look at some new songs. The sun is shining and I feel great!

Exciting lesson!
Yesterday, I took a lesson from a very good vocal teacher that visited Stockholm for one day. He has trained big stars like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Madonna. The lesson was really fun and I was amazed over the things I discovered I could do with my voice! I feel very inspired for the moment...

New single!
I'm finally back home after two weeks in Are. Our second single, Top of the mountain, is going out to all the radiostations in Sweden today. Me and Peter had a lot of discussions about which song we should pick as our second single, but after talking to a lot of people that have listened to the record we decided to pick this one. I'm quite pleased with that decision!
